Goals/How it Worked: The NRA wanted to cut out a lot of the competition that was going on in the U.S. so they set this administration up to solve the problem. The planned to make industries and the government come together and create a system of codes called fair trades. Plus they wanted set prices for the industries.
Who was Helped/Who wasn't: The NRA was responsible for coming up with the idea of minimum wages and also maximum hours that one could work in a week. The NRA by setting these new orders into place helped the working class a great deal. Now instead of working more for less the workers knew what they were getting and did not have to work a crazy amount of time to get it. The least positive effect obviously was the rich upper class that one did not have to deal with these new changes to the work life and two the people that owned these industries that were making these people work like that for a small amount of money and more hours. Not only were workers a main target in this administration but also they set a minimum price for everything that was being sold.
Successful or Not: The NRA overall was not very successful, mostly because the supreme court decided that it was unconstitutional. So it was a short lived Act.
Relief/long-term recovery/reform?: The NRA was set out for recovery as is seen in the name but what really came of it was short term relief even though we still see some aspects in today's world like minimum wage. Also it tried to infuse some reform of industries into the administration.
